Registered Nurse – CCPN - Up to $50,000 funding for eligible nurses

The Opportunity:

 

Manitoulin Health Centre is looking for RN’s to work at its Little Current and Mindemoya sites. Qualified applicants will possess a current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Temporary Class members may also be considered. Preference may be given to those with recent hospital experience.

 

Mandatory proof of fully immunized COVID-19 vaccination status

 

As a CCPN, you will be working full-time hours for a 2 year period and will be guaranteed a permanent position at MHC at the end of the CCPN commitment. 


CCPN Recruitment Incentive Eligibility Criteria

 

To be eligible for the CCPN, a nurse must:

  • Not have been employed as a nurse in Ontario in the six months prior to being hired,
  • Hold a Certificate of Registration in good standing from the College of Nurses of Ontario,
  •  Begin their 2-year commitment between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025,
  • Commit to two-years of employment at a full-time work schedule offered by the employer,
  • Not simultaneously receive funds from the Ministry of Health for the Tuition Support Program for Nurses, and
  •  Not be hired through the Nursing Graduate Guarantee program.

    • $2.25 evenings, $2.98 nights, $3.14 weekends
