As cancer patients undergoing treatment have weakened immune systems, they are vulnerable to viruses and infections. Make sure to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer when visiting.
If you are accompanying a patient to their chemotherapy appointment and you are unwell (cough, cold, flu, etc.), please reconsider your ability to accompany them or take necessary precautions to keep your loved one safe (wear a mask, wash hands, etc.).
