Dr. Shruti Sebastian (2nd from left) was welcomed to the Island community last week by Central Manitoulin Mayor Richard Stephens, MHC Board Chair, Terry Olmstead and MHC President & CEO, Lynn Foster.
Dr. Sebastian recently joined the Mindemoya physician group, taking over Dr. Nick Jeeves’ medical practice. Dr. Sebastian is no stranger to the Island or Manitoulin Health Centre. She has previously done locum work at the Mindemoya site. Both Central Manitoulin council and Manitoulin Health Centre recognize the importance of attracting physicians to the community and as such offered, Dr. Sebastian physician recruitment assistance of $5,000 each.
